# FTP failure

 * I recently changed my website host and have changed the ftp details to connect
   to my backup file. However, when I test the connection I get the following message:
 * FTP settings test result: Failure: we successfully logged in, but were not able
   to create a file in the given directory.
 * Messages:
    * PHP event: code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput() [function.ftp-nb-fput]:
   Could not open: No such file or directory (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/
   includes/ftp.class.php)
 * I did Google this error message and found [one person with the same problem](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ftp-backup-option-not-working/)
   but not the solution!

   disabled by the administrator.

    I’ll contact the host to see if it can be fixed.
