 * you should contact the support of your hoster.
 * However: in what context does the message appear? When you want to install an
   update? Then WordPress obviously falls back to FTP here, which would not be necessary.
   That this happens, however, speaks for a problem with the permissions on directories
   and files. Your hosting support should be able to help you with this as well.
