 * how do I use the ftp auto update? it keeps giving me errors, and I think it’s
   because I’m specifying the hostname incorrectly. How do I correctly specify the
   installation path?

 * also, try using IP address instead of your domain as hostname

 * the error message is:
 * Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings
   are correct.
 * ftp works fine in other clients, so the ftp is fine.
 * so far I’ve tried these as hostnames:
 * localhost/srv/http
    <ip address>/srv/http
