• I am highly disappointed with the Masteriyo plugin. It has caused nothing but frustration. Major settings refuse to stick, I configure everything exactly how I need it, but the moment the page refreshes, it resets as if I did nothing at all.

To make matters worse, the email verification feature completely fails to work. While the certificate feature technically works, the design is incredibly ugly and customizing it to look even remotely professional is a massive, difficult headache. This plugin is simply not reliable for a live site. I cannot recommend it.

    Hi @ingimohamed,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we are truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you have had. This is absolutely not the experience we want for our users, and we take every concern seriously.
We would love to help you resolve each of these issues, so let us address them one by one.

    1. Settings Not Saving After Refresh
This is not expected behavior and is something we would like to investigate further. In most cases, this type of issue is caused by a caching plugin or server-level cache serving a previously saved version of the page. Could you please let us know which caching plugin or hosting environment you are using? Also, could you try clearing all cache and testing again to see if the settings persist?
    2. Email Verification Not Working
This is most commonly related to the email delivery configuration on your server rather than the plugin itself. We strongly recommend setting up an SMTP plugin to ensure reliable email delivery on your WordPress site. Please refer to the following documentation for guidance: https://docs.themegrill.com/docs/smartsmtp/
    3. Certificate Design
With the default block-based certificate builder, you can achieve quite professional-looking designs. If you are using a certificate background image with predefined text built into the image, managing the layout can feel a little uncomfortable, but it is very manageable using the available spacing controls and default blocks. That said, we completely understand your feedback and we are actively working on a v2 Certificate Builder that will be significantly easier to use and much more modern in design. We are truly excited about this update and hope it will make a real difference for you!

We also want to mention that we were unable to find any previous support requests from your account. We genuinely wish you had reached out to us sooner, as we are confident we could have resolved these issues much earlier. Our support team is always here and ready to help.
Please do not hesitate to open a support thread or reach out via live chat at https://masteriyo.com/ and we will personally work through each of these issues with you.

Thank you again for your honest feedback — it truly helps us grow and improve!

I have exactly the same problem. I’ve been sitting here for 3 hours trying to get Quiz point values to stick when I save them. Doesn’t happen. LiteSpeed caching plugin has been deactivated. Doesn’t do a thing.

    Hi @alb99,

Thank you for providing the detailed environment information. We appreciate the time you took to gather and share these details.

Based on the information provided, we can see that your site is hosted on a LiteSpeed server. As mentioned in our system requirements, LiteSpeed hosting environments are not generally recommended for LMS platforms because aggressive caching and server-level optimizations can sometimes interfere with dynamic LMS functionality, even when the LiteSpeed Cache plugin itself is disabled.

Since the issue persists after disabling the cache plugin, it may be related to the server environment or another site-specific factor. To properly investigate this, we would need to perform a more in-depth review of your setup.

Could you please contact our support team through the live chat available on our website?

    https://masteriyo.com/

Our team will be happy to investigate the issue further and help identify the root cause.

As an initial test, you may also try increasing your WordPress memory limit from 40M to at least 128M or higher, as LMS platforms typically require more resources to handle quiz and course operations reliably.
