Frontpage with image grid that links to pages

    Hi
    I’m looking for a theme or a way to make a static frontpage with the following:
    1.Left vertical menu
    2.Image grid where each pic links to a page on the site.

    I’ve come across tons of themes that have grids but they all link to posts.

    Can anybody point me to a theme or help me build that?
