• Hello guys,

I am building an example site for a small travel agency here:
    http://thepixelconspiracy.com/trekkingnepal/

As you can see they have dozens of trips and they are divided by trip categories. (For example in the sidebar navigation: Nepal/Trekking/Everest Base Camp)
I would like to have a Featured Trips section on the front page that shows 6 trips. Also I want to make it available to choose this trips from the back-end of the site.

My question is: what is the best method for this?
I created all the items/trips as individual pages (parent/child pages) and then I assigned them to the sidebar menu.
Would it be better to recreate them as posts, and then make a Featured category, that will list its posts on the frontpage?
Or is it possible to list certain pages on the frontpage…so I can continue to add more trips as pages later on?

Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help in advance.
