    Hello,

Can someone please explain what the difference is between publishing your code frontend vs admin? For example, I have a Mailchimp embedded form that appears at the bottom of every page. I assume the custom CSS for the form needs to be frontend.

But what about the HTML I have for my Mailchimp popup form? Frontend or admin?

What do either of these two options mean in terms of function and purpose?

    Thanks.

The “admin” is the part of your website where you administrate the website’s settings. The admin’s URL usually looks like “https://your-website/wp-admin/”.

The “frontend” is the part of the website that the users see. The frontend’s URL usually looks like “https://your-website/”.

The custom CSS for your Mailchimp embedded form, as well as the HTML for the Mailchimp popup form will be in the frontend.
