Ok so, I’m using the Frontend Author option, and see that the admin bar isn’t there (so that’s great). However, once anyone clicks on “site admin” they have access to the back-end. They can’t do much once there, but is there entirely takeaway back-end access?

The option to disable the admin bar does not restrict the access to the backend – The issue is that the media upload is using ajax calls from the backend, and as such, this could brake the media upload.

I have maybe found a way to restricct backend access, without breaking the media upload – I will try and test it, and get back to you.

I found a way. I installed theme my login so it redirects the user to the home page once they sign in thanks!

    How did you do that?
