I don’t have access to Edge, but when I run your site in IE 11 with emulation set to “Edge”, I am not seeing any issues. The slider seems to be running fine.

The Albums display is fine, click on the first album and the overlay of pictures looks fine. However, if you then click on a picture it is displayed at the bottom of the window and half cut off. How can I adjust the position of the picture that is being displayed in the slideshow?

I don’t know why this particular behaviour is occurring on your site, and it is hard to troubleshoot with the caching plugins you have in place. What happens if you use a different lightbox instead of Swipebox?
