Front page post widget wont display

I’ve been getting a crash course in logic syntax and so far I’ve been able to do all that I need to do except this one. I have a post that is on my static frontpage. Its http://troop44bushkill.org/NewSite/home-page-articles-4/

I want a widget to display on that post on my front page at http://www.troop44bushkill.org/NewSite under Upcoming activities. I’m using the logic is_single(‘home-page-articles-4’) to make that happen. No joy so far.

Should I be using a different logic to make this work?
