Front-page is blog custom category, how to current-menu-item highlight ?

    Hi, i’m getting crazy..
    I’ve set my homepage as latest post with a custom category or front-page… how can i do to have the corrisponding menu (category) highlighted ?

    Maybe i’m wrong but i’m searching a way to have homepage as category post and menu item active …

    I’ve been looking for an answer to this too. I am using the built in menu tool. If I use a standard page the menu shows the active state when on that page. But when I use a custom link menu item, when I’m on that page of my site, that menu item isn’t in an active state. The custom link goes to a specific tag.
