• I have just recently updated to 3.0.1 version and when I publish a new item or update widgets the front page does not immediately update. Some of the other pages update immediately such as contact page
This was never a problem before in older versions.
    Any ideas?

Are you using any plugins? Do you have static pages set up and perhaps one of them is listed as the posts page?

Deactivate all the plugins (if you want donot activate necessary plugins) and then try to update. If this works, try to activate plugins one by one till you find the cause.

    Thanks

I just checked and now the home page has been updated,4 hours later. I did not deactivate my plug ins. Maybe it`s something to do with my browser Mozilla or ISP?

    Sounds like somethings being cached.

Okay, Hope you have found the problem, You try using a different Browser like the best one :Google Chrome.

    Thanks

I just clicked on home page (12 hours later) and it had reverted back to previous post. I then went into dashboard, went into edit post and clicked on latest story. I then clicked on preview post from there I clicked on home page and the latest post had been reinstated. I also tried google search for my site and this to had updated to my latest post again.

I have looked at wp super cache plugin tested it following came back:

    Cache Tester

Test your cached website by clicking the test button below.

Fetching http://arch1design.com/blog to prime cache: OK

Fetching first copy of http://arch1design.com/blog: OK

Fetching second copy of http://arch1design.com/blog: OK

The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!

    Does this have a relevance?

Wait, were you using this plugin before or are you ONLY using it now?

If you had it installed before, turn it off. Just for now.

I had the plug in activated before I posted new article. I have switched it off, because the same thing happened the previous post returned to my home page. I’ll leave it off for a while and see what happens. I don’t want to leave it to long or else i’ll have godaddy on my back for blocking their network, if I get sudden surge in views from stumble or digg. They took my site of air last time and told me to use super cache.
