Not sure when or why this issue started and I seem to be making it worse….I type in http://dancingawaystress.com and it redirects to htt://dancingawaystress.com/book. I’ve checked “reading” in settings and its set to go to latest blog posts not a static page.
Not sure what I am missing to get it to show the latest blogs posts.

    Now link shows:

    Error 404 – Not Found
Oh no! You’re looking for something which just isn’t here! The URL you entered or followed no longer seems to exist, has been removed, or has been replaced.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Try going to “Settings > Reading” and see if you altered your front page or blog page at all.

Edit: NVM. Just saw that you checked that.

Thanks so much for the quick response….
    deactivated plugins,
changed back to the Twenty Ten theme….and tried it again,
still goes to http://dancingawaystress.com/book, with error code, hit enter again it goes to the blog page at http://dancingawaystress.com/?s=
    most curious……
Will try the FTP of resetting plugins.
    Any further thoughts? Thanks again!

I noticed your book page has the url http://dancingawaystress.com/boo. What happens if you change the slug to book?

What a fun puzzle this is…..
changed slug – it turned out as /book-2 and site shows up but still at the /book page and not the blogs……

Oh Thank You! Deactivating plugins did the trick. Now to find out which one is the rascal!
