• I updated the theme to 4.5.2 and it broke the front page content box content links and button links. They links still appear there but clicking doesn’t do anything. HTML is the same as before just not working now. A bunch of other things got messed up too but this is the most critical. Been waiting several weeks for a posted fix but nothing came so I’m posting this in hopes that there’s a resolution to this.

  • Hi,

The latest Theme version is 3.6.0 and not 4.5.2

    Please post your website URL.
I will take a look and see if I can spot what’s causing your issue.

    Thank you.

I have been test driving the Evolve Theme since Feburary and hope to purchase the full version once my manager gets back probably next week. At one point I had links working in the description section of the Front Page Content Boxes but now they don’t work. Only the learn more link works. Sometimes when I double click the link in the description, it just highlights some text in the main body of the Web site. I can’t find any broken links or missing code. I know it worked 2 months ago but we have been busy here lately and I have not had a chance to mess with it other than applying the new updates as they come out. Because it is still in testing phase, I don’t have an external link that can be used to see it. I was just wondering what would prevent the links from working. If I right click on the link, it doesn’t show up as a link. Its like something has turned off the ability to use links in the description field.

    Regarding your issue,

Because it is still in testing phase, I don’t have an external link that can be used to see it.

I cannot provide any useful suggestion without seeing the source code.
It’s not possible to guess the cause of the issue.

    Thank you

I apologize and I will open a new form later. I just thought this sounded similar to what I was having and wanted to see if there had been a solution. I didn’t know if the evolve code had been set to prevent links in the description part of the front page boxes or not. Anyway I will try and start a new post once I can setup an external view. Thank you for your time.

    Hi @praiford,

No need for apology. 🙂 I was just trying to let all new users know the forum rule, so that it’s easier to provide help and the thread will not look messy.

    Thank you.
