Support » Fixing WordPress » Front-End User Data

  • Hi folks, this is my first time using wordpress so I apologize if this question has been asked in the past and I’m not looking up the right information or not asking the right questions.

Little bit about what I’m trying to accomplish. I’m using Elementor to build out the design of my WP site. I’ll be building a inventory system that I want my users to submit their own stuff to. For example:

    User1 creates
    Name: Item1
    Components: [ {K1:V1}, {K2:V2}, {K3 : {Sub stuff}}]

    etc…

I’d like for user1 to only be able to edit his/her components. How the data is stored (json, etc…) I could care less, I just want to be able to only edit user1 components as user1 and be able to save it from the front-end and build the form out using something like ACF / Elementor.

If I don’t have enough information, let me know I’d be happy to add more details.
