# Front end submissions issue

 * Ive installed the events calendar and bought the front end submissions plug in,
   so that users can add events from the front end. Its important that I don’t expose
   users to the WP admin interface. All works fine apart from the fact that any 
   user when logged in can ‘edit an event’ from the front end even if they didnt
   create the event. The other issue is that it also takes a logged in user to the
   WP admin interface to edit the event vs a front end form.
 * Any thoughts?

 * This is not a issue, this is how the WordPress user roles feature works. Change
   the user role, and they will not be able to edit (other people’s) events.
 * Administrator
    Administrators can create more Administrators, invite new users,
   remove users, and change user roles. They have complete control over events, 
   uploaded files, imports, other users.
 * Editor
    An Editor can create, edit, publish, and delete any event (not just their
   own), as well as manage categories, tags, and links.
 * Author
    An Author can create, edit, publish, and delete only their own events,
   as well as upload files and images. Authors do not have access to modify events
   by other users.
 * Event Contributor
    A Contributor can create and edit only their own events, but
   cannot publish them. When one of their events is ready to be published or has
   been revised, the Administrator needs to be notified personally by the Contributor
   to review it. Furthermore, once a Contributor’s event is approved and published
   by an Administrator, it can no longer be edited by the Contributor. Also, Contributors
   do not have the ability to upload files or images.
