    Hey everyone, I’m using the core calendar with the Front End Submission add on. I’m currently having problems with it displaying. 8/10 times I click the “post your event” button, it doesn’t display; even after refreshing the page, and closing and reopening the browser. I gave it a few days to see if the problem would sort itself out but it hasn’t.

    In addition I found that the information behind all scheduled events duplicates. If I click an event on my calendar, it displays normally but duplicates and displays in a second location. The duplicate information shows up on my header above the navigation bar. Here’s an example: http://www.growwithimg.com/riparentmag/event/409/?instance_id=1

    I love the plugin and my client is extremely satisfied with it as well, I’m just hoping that these are easy fixes. Thanks!

  • Hi,

    What browser do you use? I have tried in Chrome and Firefox, and a pop-up window is opened after 2 seconds.

    Hi Ben, I use Google Chrome. It did work every so often, but more times than not the form wouldn’t open, leaving only the white overlay on the page. It looks as if all is working well now anyways, thank you.

    I’m still not sure what is happening with the event information however. The “when” , “where”, “cost”, “category”, and map sections all display normally in the body section, but also display in the header as well. Here is the example I gave earlier:

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    It seems that there is a conflict with your WP theme, the simplest solution is to add the following code to your site css:

    .single-ai1ec_event HEADER .timely {display: none;}

    Take care,
    Ben
