 * Hello everyone, I am working in a site where users will register and upload a
   photo taken by phone. Normally the picture is raised in crude and weighs around
   3 MB, they are very large but I would like to make these images optimized as
   well. The photos are uploaded from this form that I created but the photos that
   are loaded from my form are not optimized, only the ones I load from my wordpress
   administration panel are optimized. [https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/newsletters-lite/](https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/newsletters-lite/)

 * Thank you for using Smush. The free version of Smush does not optimize images
   over 1MB. You would need to use the Pro version of Smush to compress the larger
   images.

 * [@jorgemartinez178](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jorgemartinez178/),
 * As [@jdailey](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jdailey/) mentioned, free version
   doesn’t compress images bigger than 1Mb. Apart from that, images uploaded via
   form are added to Media Library or they are just stored in directory?
 * Thanks, Umesh

 * the images are uploaded to the directory only, not to multimedia.

 * [@jorgemartinez178](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jorgemartinez178/), Is
   it possible to share the code that handles the image upload to directory, so
   that maybe I can figure out some way to allow auto smush of those images.
 * Thanks, Umesh
