From RapidWeaver to WordPress... (3 posts)

This is my first posting here. I run a few sites and have been using a program from realmacsoftware.com called RapidWeaver. The site is a success and very active.

So I have a MacBook Pro... and it died. Now RapidWeaver is dead too. Until the machine comes back from service, I am back on a PC.

Has anyone out here transferred their site (or maybe just the blog entries) from that program to this one?

The blog entries are being fed by FeedBurner (so hopefully I can "just" reroute to this platform).

    Thank you!

Bump (or whatever you do to get this to attention again!).

I have converted over to WP (yeah) and it is located at http://www.implementingscrum.com/blog.

Now I want to import the old xml file to the site which is located at http://www.implementingscrum.com/cartoons/cartoons_files/implementingscrum.xml

When I try to do this, I am getting file permission errors.

    Can Anyeeeeeeeeone please help me??

    Thank you!

    Share the error?

    (guesswork follows)

Assuming it mentions that a directory on the server is not writable, did you try and correct that?

    Changing_File_Permissions might be of help.
