From multisite to single site

Recently I migrated a single site to multisite; however, I cannot get it to work properly and I’m thinking of rolling back the changes. All the info I need still is on the main site, so I don’t need anything from subsites.

I’ve been googling to find a correct procedure in the same circunstances as mine, but coulnd’t find anything conclusive.

So my question is: is it enough to go back to single-site just by disabling the multisite code in wp-config.php and restoring the single-site WP .htaccess directives?
