Hello,

I’ve recently had problems with my PHP application, nothing to-do with WordPress, but my experience with another forum was bad. I felt belittled and insulted from the forum volunteers responding.

I was wondering whether some guidelines exists to help me prevent myself from iterating this bad forum experience on other users. I don’t want to put others through what I have experienced, it really discouraged me from asking help again.

Does anyone know if these guidelines exist and where I can find them?

Hi Andrew,

That really sucks. People can be so mean sometimes. I do hope that you use the forum here and that we can help. I think that the things to remember is that we are all volunteers, so not always here and as esmi mentioned, writing good support thread is important.
