Fresh Install WP, blank white screen after most actions

    I just installed WP on my new site. I have another site on this host which is working, but this new site gets just a blank white screen after trying to edit posts at all.
    So far I get a blank white screen after:
    Deleting Hello World post
    Trying to Post a new Post

    I have reverted to the default theme with no widgets.
    I have no idea where to start troubleshooting here since I don’t get an error message and am not familiar with PHP.

    Please help!

    Check your PHP memory configuration. You can do it in two places, one is PHP.INI an the other on WP-CONFIG.PHP… perhaps you need more memory…

    Hm..not sure how my version was listed as 2.8.5, but it is the most current version which is 2.8.6

    I completely reinstalled WP, and deleted the Hello World post before changing anything, and it seems to be working now. Maybe my FTP program didn’t like the server, or vice versa =)

    Thanks for the help cesarius, I will try your advice before posting again if I have any problems.

    (by reinstalled I meant that I deleted all files except for content folder, and re uploaded, along with deleting all mySQL tables and setting a new prefix)
