OK, I can access blog.wellbeyondcare.com but not the /wp-admin/…it seems like the URL does not exist?
..I double checked the DB settings and they are correct… it seems as if blog.wellbeyondcare.com/wp-admin/ does not exist but the the blog.wellbeyondcare.com/index.php does redirect to the correct html page…

WordPress doesn’t use index.html. It uses index.php. You will need to remove the index.html holding page from blog.wellbeyondcare.com
After you do that, you will need to review your sub-domain settings and WordPress installation procedure to address this error:

You say you double-checked the DB settings, and they’re correct. Could there be some nuance that you’re missing in the settings? Or is it possible you uploaded the file as wp-config-sample.php instead of wp-config.php?
Installed WP incorrectly…reinstalled and it fixed the problem.
