Fresh install and data migration

    I want to perform a completely fresh install of wordpress 3.6.1 and migrate the data from it’s original database because of ongoing issues with the media manager and problems editing posts.

    Is there any way I can do this without backing up and restoring as this may propagate the problem if it is a database hangover.

    I will have to bring across posts, pages, themes and plugins so I need a complete migration process.
