french translation

    hello, i’ve used woo-stripe-payment.pot to create woo-stripe-payment-fr_FR.mo et woo-stripe-paiement-fr_FR.po
    i put it “plugins”> i18n > languages
    and it works well
    but I notice that regularly the translations are not displayed anymore because when I go to the folder where my translation files are, they are not there anymore.
    Is there anything special to do to keep the translation files? I am the only one who has ftp access to transfer these files. I don’t understand…

    Hi @albeaumont,

    The Stripe plugin has no control over the directory in which your translations are stored.

    I don’t know why your translation file is being removed but I can say with certainty it’s not related to the Stripe plugin.

    It sounds like you have some functionality that is refreshing your directory or overwriting it.

    Hi @albeaumont,

    I believe you want your translation files to go in the wp-content/languages/plugins folder. The folder you mentioned in your first request is not safe from WordPress updates.
