French front end

    Hi There

    Oddly enough, searching only the word ‘french’ in the forums returned 0 results, so here’s my question..

    I have a site I need to launch in wordpress with an english admin area but french front end – I assume the way to do this is with the .pot file in the theme’s ‘languages’ folder. Does anyone have any recommendations, or know how to fully make the most of this? There does not appear to be any way to ‘enable’ it or switch languages..

    Any guidance or advice greatly appreciated!

    UPDATE: I’ve altered ‘wp_config.php’ to set language to french, and installed the .mo and .po files from the french version of wordpress – but now the admin area is in french. Anyone know how to set it up so that only the front end is in french?
