Free WPL is Awesome! Paid MLS increased organic acquisition to 55% In 90 days!

This product does exactly what it says. The free version works 100% as described, and would be well suited for a realtor/broker who wants to create their own listings on their site.

I am going to give this plugin 5 stars because I have ample experience working with the Realtyna team to successfully build an organic MLS website for a broker. Even after the site is complete and we should be done with our relationship, Realtyna has reached out many times to see if we are doing well and to address any possible concerns.

My client’s site has doubled in traffic every month since it has been launched because of the SEO implications. The organic acquisition is now at 55% in just 90 days!

If you are a realtor/broker belonging to an association, who wants to ditch the IDX or iframe for organic search optimized MLS, my recommendation is to go with the WPL Pro, with full MLS integration, and, the APS search add-on, depending on your business objectives and budget, respectively. (I plan to add neighborhoods add-on next.) Also, use the Realtyna developers! They built the code, know the code, understand the dynamics of the software, and work on the systems every day.

Things to be aware of when going with the WPL Pro and MLS Integration:

Server – Go with a VPS or dedicated Linux server with storage appropriate for your associations MLS data size. This system literally hosts every MLS listing in the database Do not go with a cheap server and expect this system to work as it should.

Timeline for MLS integration – this is NOT a simple one click and your are done integration! This is a very customized piece of code that is built per client, per server, and per client-realtor associations MLS feed-type. While there is the base code, this is not a “one size fits all” ‘box’ package! It is customized for each situation, so plan accordingly.

Settings for WPL and FLEX – Learn the documentation!! Everything is online and you can customize just about every aspect of this system to suit your needs. The preset settings will not be customized for your situation, clearly. The Realtyna team could not know your business objectives – and if you would hire them to scope your project and define all of your objectives, it would clearly cost more to build out. (It is my guess they would be open to the possibility.)

Customer Service – I have had excellent customer service overall and while it could be nice to talk to someone on the phone, I understand building an effective, agile business, then giving away a free plugin, would require an entire customer support call center to take phone calls. -Again costing you, the developer, way more money to finance the answer to the same questions you can easily find online, or send an email about.

Side Bar: I called once to inquire, talked to Carolyn B. and in perfect english she explained to me how the system worked. She followed up with me until we were ready to go and walked me through the entire process until we were in the hands of the specific developers. Each time there was a potential issue, Carolyn was cc into the email which shows me she was still interested in excellent customer support to the end.

Remember, this software is not for the novice. Similar products are tens of thousands more. [moderated]
