  • I’ve knocked up a selection of simple templates for use with WordPress blogs. They’ve not been overly customised from standard (no changing of the function tags from the default really), but they should be simple to use.
They’re graphic free and it should just a case of replacing the standard index.php and wp-layout.css files.
I haven’t had much chance to test them, so if you see any problems, drop me a note.
    You can find them at:
    Enjoy. Cheers

  • Thanks a lot, these should prove usefull for many people!

    will they work for 1.3?

I’m not sure if they work in 1.3, when it’s finally released I’ll probably port them over, in the meantime, I may download a beta and create 1.3 versions if there’s enough demand.

    Well done.
    thank you!

I am sorry but your templates do not provide a “Next” link when you have reached your page limit that is set. For example, mine is 5 posts per page. Well I have 6 on my main page and it only shows 5 with NO “Next” link. Why is this? Can someone help me? My email address is or you can contact me through my forum:

1: The default template in 1.2 does not provide those links either, and these templates are based on that (see the first sentence in the first post)
2: What searching have you done to find out what tags you need and how to use them ?
3: You could have emailed the person who took their own time to create these templates and make them available for everyone else at no cost whatsoever.

    4. If you have a site called ‘Webmasterdesign’ and claim to be providing your own templates, why are you having to use other people’s work anyway?
