How do I make it completely free for the first week of the course. My credit card, paypal info, nothing, just completely free. I think it’ll be confusing for my clients to be signing up for a free week and then having to enter their paypal or credit card information. However I still want them to go through the regular account sign up process because once they’re signed up they get added to my email list. * My next problem is i’d like to change the display pricing text for the course. If you’re on 3x, I would create a free access plan to your course that expires in 1 week. And then invite them to sign up for the recurring plan during your email sequence. * If you’re using version 2x you might need to get more creative, possibly creating 2 membership levels – one that’s the free trial, including the course on offer, but just for 7 days. And the 2nd, the full course included in the membership, but on a payment plan. * But, as a side note, it’s very, very common to collect credit card information while signing up for a trial. In your course sales copy, you could mention that you’ll send them an email reminder prior to the payment going through, if that would ease any concerns. * **Re: the text in the pricing table** Have you downloaded the LifterLMS helper plugin? The subject on this page is referring to premium plugins, but I believe it works with 2x (I should verify that – will you do a backup before uploading it, just in case?). If I update it to version 3 is it free and will all my courses still be there? * Also from my understanding that plugin only assists people with the premium lifter lms theme and won’t really help me in my situation. Once they sign up for a premium membership will the course progress of the user be transferred? Or would they basically just be restarting the course?
