Support » Plugin: PostX - Gutenberg Blocks for Post Grid » Free version lacks critical flexiblity

  • Like many of the themes & plugins, nicely executed with the specific objective of leaving critical elements of control out of reach without the pro version. Looked promising, but a waste to time.

  • Please be precise: which elements are ‘critical’ for the function that (you) miss? Make us unillumined users happy and provide some custom css to enhance the free version, then your time would not be wasted.
Like many of the reviewers here always expecting maximum performance, but not wanting to pay for anything. Where are your perfect solutions, which you give away for nothing? Do you work for money? Otherwise the world will have plenty of problems for you to work on.

In a world of software, where arbitrary lines can be created between free and pay for functionality, I expect no more or no less than documentation that clearly defines what is included for free and what requires payment. In your goal of marketing your solution you have

    1) Failed to do so
    2) I believe constructed the feature set with the goal of having users spend enough time with your offering, they would rather spend the money than give up on their lost time.

I find such practices unethical. Your judgement shows a lack of maturity and character. For the record, I’m working on a personal web site, with no intention of collecting revenue (ever). So yes, I’m paying to host a site, publishing information which I hope is of value (including software I’ve written and am providing for free), so please don’t use your personal sense of values as basis to judge others so absolutely.

    Hi @gcharles9,

Thank you for using our post blocks plugin. We really work hard to make it more awesome and flexible for users. You can check, we have maintained regular updates and also added new features. I wish you will be agreed that the post blocks plugin has huge features and most of them are free. It’s true that there is a few pro feature restriction. I think you are so smart and you know we have to maintain team members to manage the plugin. Hope you will understand and reconsider your review.

Note: We have a plan to add more features that will make your life easier. Have a nice day.
