Firstly I would like to thank you for installing our plugin and for your feedback.
While the free version does have less functionality available that the premium version, we have placed no restrictions whatsoever on what activities the free version is able to log. Furthermore, the free version includes sorting – which allows data to be sorted by any of the available columns (date, objects, username, event ID, etc.), thus making it easier to find specific information. While we acknowledge that this is not the same as search and filtering, it provides the basic functionality required to find specific events. We also provide ample documentation, including a list of all WordPress activity log event IDs that can help you find what you’re looking for, quicker.
Developing a ‘best of breed’ plugin requires resources. By offering a premium version with additional functionality we have been able to grow both premium and free versions of the plugin and today see over 200,000 active installations on WordPress websites of all sizes.
