Were you aware that this plugin hasn’t been updated in almost 3 years? Did you try asking about the plugin on http://www.tankado.com/en/onlywire-auto-poster-wordpress-eklentisi as documented on the plugin’s page?
Yes I was aware – I was trying it on the off-chance it still worked as there are no free WP -> Reddit autopost apps as far as I can see. Asking the author what about his plugin?
Why any limitations to the free 3rd party service access aren’t clearly documented on the plugin’s page?
They aren’t clearly documented because the plugin probably trickles in money for him for people who end up paying for it. This review is me telling him (and warning other people not to download).
I’m not convinced that this is a valid assumption. Given that the plugin’s page hasn’t been updated for years, it’s just as likely that the terms of use for the 3rd party service changed but the plugin’s author forgot to update the plugin to reflect those changes in its readme.txt file.
You could at least ask about this before jumping to some rather negative and possibly false conclusions.
The other 1 star review is from 2 years ago. It’s likely it’s always been this way & is certainly a valid assumption.
