I have a client who uses the free version of UPS WooC Live Rates. He uses the UPS Live rates for his shipping price.

He is telling me he gives free ‘Ground’ shipping on orders over $50, but if they want expeditied shipping, like 2-day or overnight, then his cart charges them the difference.

But that doesn’t work anymore. Now the clients can choose any shipping speed offered, and they still get free shipping. He claims it used to work as he described, but stopped sometime recently (he doesn’t know when).

I’ve looked through the settings and I’m not seeing any place to setup shipping tables or variables like this.

Does this need a premium addon to make it work this way? Or maybe this is something to be setup inside his UPS account?
Did the free plugin change, or is this something else?

I was wrong, in the past, the woo cart charged the full price for expedited shipping if the customer choose faster shipping over the free shipping.

    Hi @randybh,

Thank you for reaching us. I’ll be happy to help.

Did the free plugin change, or is thissomething else?
I would kindly like to inform you that we have not made this type of change to the plans for the Free vs. Pro plugin. The current features are available here. The free version still offers UPS services such as Ground, 2-day and Overnight.

Does this need a premiumaddon to make it work this way? Or maybe this is something to be setup insidehis UPS account?
To proceed with more detailed troubleshooting, please enable the Debug Mode for the UPS plugin. This will help us understand if there are specific error messages at checkout.

Once you have enabled Debug Mode, please provide the following information:
    – UPS Live Rates Shipping Method configuration
    – UPS Live Rates settings
    – Debug Mode logs for UPS (request and response)
    – Destination and shipment address (zip code, country, city)
    – Information about what other shipping methods the customer is using in the shipping zone where UPS is configured.

This information will help me identify the issue more accurately.

    Thank you!
    Best regards
