    Hi,

First of all CONGRATULATIONS for this plugin.. is not just really useful, but it is probably the most straight forward plugin I have ever install, and easy to use.

That being said, let me expose my “problem”. I created an advanced free shipping class with your plugin, and I first renamed to European free shipping, but, suddenly i decided i need it to say just Free shipping.

Well.. no matter what i do, it will some how remain as European Free Shipping, regardless of what I change in the back office. As a clue, let me mention I got wpml plugin (for translations) and i activated just after I changed it to European Free Shipping, after that.. it never let me change it again.

I know an easy solution would be to delete the rule and create a new one, but I guess it would be better to report the problem so you can maybe update this plugin to make it 100% perfect.

    Thanks
    Kind regards

    Hi Andre,

Thank you for your kind words 🙂

It could be related to the shipping cache that the title isn’t changing: http://jeroensormani.com/shipping-debug-mode

I’m not sure if its related to WPML, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Maybe its duplicating the shipping rate for another language and you’re seeing that? (random guess)

Are you running any other cache?

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

    Hi!

    Thanks for your quick response.

Regarding the solutions provided above, I enabled the shipping the bug, but still no luck, it still shows the old one.

Your random guess… sounds.. random .. heheheh i mean, it is highly unlikely that is the case, but I guess this migh have A LOT to do with WPML.

I do not have any other cahche method. Would it help you if I give you access to my back office?

    Thanks
    Kind regards

    Hi,

Could you maybe try things out with WPML disabled? see how that goes..

As WPML is not officially supported, I can only provide so much support on third party plugins like that 😉

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Appart from translating the shipping methods with wmpl (which I did not manage yet) I have a bigger issue, which is at the moment is shows (for example) European Free Shipping, but it does not state the time frame that it will take to arrive to the customer, which makes the customers go away and find something else.

Would it be possible to customize the actual title of each Free shipping?

Let says it says something like National Free shipping 2 – 3 days, or , European Free shipping 4 – 5 days, etc.

    Thanks
    Kind regards

    Hi,

Yes, you can setup a different shipping title per shipping rate that you create.

If you have any further questions, please open a new forum thread here 😉

    Thanks,
    Jeroen
