Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Free Shipping Per Product » Free shipping method disappears if adding another product to cart

    Hi,

    I encountered the following problem:
the plugin works great until I add another product to the cart. When I add another product, it overwrites and shipping is no longer free. It’s so weird that after adding a product with free shipping, adding another product occours paid shipping again…

Is there a solution for this? 🙂

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @walacky
Do you mean that the other product is also a free shipping product?

    Hi,

no, it’s a normal product. But I don’t think it’s logical that once a customer is eligible for free shipping, after adding another product, they are no longer… Even though the product that allows free shipping is in the cart too.

Right now, the implementation is that if the customer purchased a free shipping product and added non-free shipping products to the cart then the plugin will only remove the free-shipping products from the shipping calculations. So if you use a shipping calculator based on the weight and dimensions, the free-shipping product will not be included.

Other users may want to charge shipping if non-free-shipping was added to the cart which also makes sense.

I understand. And maybe there’s no way to make it optional? So that both solutions (logic) can be applied …)

    Hi,
@wprubyplugins such an option would be useful.
I also need such a solution.

    Hi @healerjj
Why are you writing in caps?

Yes, the feature was added in the latest version of the plugin.
