    Hi guys,

Free shipping is showing when it shouldn’t.

I’ve checked that the settings are correct.

    I’ve cleared the cache.

I’ve been looking for information but I can’t find anything that helps me solve this.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Kind regards,

    Raquel.

    Hello @datibus,

Thank you for reaching out to WooCommerce Support.

To help us understand the issue more clearly, could you please provide us with the specific conditions or steps that lead to free shipping showing when it shouldn’t?

In the meantime, could you please provide screenshots showing the shipping zone and free shipping method settings on your end?

    We need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping
    • WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone
    • WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone → Click on Edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings.

You can use https://prnt.sc/ or https://snipboard.io to share screenshots here.

Additionally, can you confirm your WordPress, WooCommerce, relevant WooCommerce plugins, and theme are all up to date? And do you use any plugin that interferes with the shipping process or checkout in any way?

    Thanks!

    Hi Rajesh,

Thank you very much for your attention, I am sending you everything you have asked for.

    WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping

WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone

WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone → Click on Edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings.

confirm my WordPress, WooCommerce, relevant WooCommerce plugins, and theme are all up to date

    Plugins:

And I will briefly tell you how to check that it does not work: We have configured the system so that, for example, purchases made in Madrid (within Spain) enjoy free shipping when the purchase is greater than €150, but when we check it we see that if we add a product to the cart whose price is less than €150, indicate an address in Madrid and click on the “Update” button to update the shipping costs, the system offers the free shipping option.

We have reviewed the configuration but we do not see where the problem may be.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

    Kind regards,
    Raquel.

    Hey, @datibus!

    Thanks for all the information.

You settings do look correct and I was able to see the issue, as free shipping showed as an option for Madrid with a product costing 59,90.

We are currently investigating an issue that sometimes happens when the comma is designated as the decimal separator, which seems to be the case on your website.

Can you please remove the free shipping option and add it again, but please make sure to add the value as 150 (not 150,00), save it and check if the issue persists?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi carolm29:

The solution you gave me worked – I would never have thought of doing that, it was very difficult to find!

If there is a WooCommerce site where these problems can be reported, let me know and I will do it, I think it would be a great help if it happens to someone else.

Many, many, many thanks for your time and help.

    Kind regards,
    Raquel.

I’m glad we were able to help!

I’ll try and find the GitHub report, then update you on it so that you can subscribe to it if there is any.

Many, many, many thanks for your time and help.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/

In the meantime, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as solved.
