Do you mean that the plugin stops showing any shipping options once you activate another shipping method?
If so, that’s unexpected behavior. It might be that some third-party plugin causes the issue. To check that, deactivate all other plugins temporarily and switch to the default theme.
Also, here is a test installation just in case you want to check how it’s expected to work.
The only way I have figured out how to get the USPS method to show at all is, as other posters have mentioned, to have no shipping methods enabled at all. So I cannot enable free shipping as a method because then I can’t get the shipping caluclator to show. The documentation mentions that this plugin does not support zones. I don’t know any other way to get it to show except for having no shipping methods enabled for my zone.
What should I be doing instead, in order to have the USPS shipping method and free shipping method enabled for my shipping zone? thanks.
I just looked at your example – I think what I want is something different. I don’t want a free option. I want one product from the store to have free shipping as the only option.

You would need an additional tool for that such as our advanced shipping plugin. Here is a quick example setup that is applying free shipping for certain items and fetches USPS rates for everything else with the help of the USPS Simple plugin.
