# Free product sample plugin?

 * Hi,
    I nee a plugin for adding a product sample to the cart. I did find some 
   free ones but none that works on an actual installation. Anybody here with a 
   tip for this? Thanks in advance

 * That’s a great question. One way you could do that is by setting up a separate
   product for the free sample and one for the paid, full product. Then create a
   third one using the “grouped” product type.
 * You can then combine the sample and full product together in the grouped product.
   Users can then add whichever one they want to the cart.
 * Nico has a tutorial on how to do this with subscriptions, but you could apply
   it to samples too.
