Free for basics options but really expensive for some basics forum options

As with the wpComments extension, WpForo gives a usable but incomplete base forcing so much expensive purchases to have a complete forum.

It does not have any deep interaction with plugins like “Woocommerce “, “BuddyPress ” or other. This makes users quickly find themselves discompassing when they manage their account.

If you want a real forum, or at least more complete, either you take bbpress (too basic but extensible easily for free) or Asgaroforum which is much more complete and 100% FREE with a reactive developer, listening to notifications and implementing requests The strongest while keeping the WordPress philosophy.

Comme pour l’extension wpComments, wpForo donne une base utilisable mais incomplète forçant à de ce fait à des achats très onéreux pour disposer d’un forum complet.

Il n’a par contre aucune interaction profonde avec les plugins comme “Woocommerce”, “buddypress” ou autre. Ce qui fait que les utilisateurs se retrouvent vite déboussoler quand à la gestion de leur compte.

Si on veut un vrai forum, ou du moins plus complet, soit on prend bbpress (trop basique mais extensible facilement gratuitement) soit Asgaroforum qui est bien plus complet et 100% gratuit avec un développeur réactif, à l’écoute des avis et implémentant les demandes les plus fortes tout en gardant la philosophie wordpress.

Thank you for your review. I’d really like to bring you more information about all you’ve written here. I’m sorry but you had mis-experience with wpForo and you miss lots of important features and other plugins integration points.

Please note, that wpForo plugin is free and it includes dozens of times more functions and features than other forum plugins. Being a free it comes with more power than even pro plugins. You don’t need addons, they are developed for extra features, you don’t need to spend even one dollar. wpForo plugin is free and you got tons of features. with wpForo you get all functions and features of all available free plugins, and in addition I listed some more advantages and features of wpForo when you compare it with other forum plugins:

• wpForo looks better, it’s super mobile friendly and looks good on all size of device screens. You don’t need any customization. Just install and use it.
• It comes with three different forum layouts, you can create a hybrid forum with different layouts.
• It has builtin forum member profile system
• It has a rich Forum Access control system, you can create different forum accesses for different Usergroups for each forum individually. There is no any forum plugin which may provide such a deep forum access controlling option

1. Embeds Addon – You can enable iframe embedding in wpForo and embed iframes. Or you can put a small code to enable URL embeding. All is described in our community.
2. Advanced Attachment addon – wpForo have file attachment function and you can extend it w/o any problem.
3. Private Message – wpForo allows you to create private Forums and Private Topics. So you have many options to communicate with users privately.
