# Free Event issue

 * Hello, I’m having an issue with the free Event Calendar plugin. The events I 
   create are always free, but for some reason lately, it’s been showing the cost
   as $10. I tried changing it to zero or free, but it keeps showing $10. If I change
   the settings it shows “free- $10” or “$10”. This started happening in August 
   I believe. It shows $10 on both the calendar page, and inside the event itself.
   We are a non-profit so can’t afford the paid upgrade. Please help!

 * Sorry about the trouble you are having here, so you are using The Events Calendar
   without Event Tickets correct? You should be able to set that price without and
