# Free – Custom Status Plugin.

 * I see that the free “Custom Status” plugin I downloaded this morning needs to
   be updated from v1.0.3 to v1.0.10.
 * How can I update it? Do I need to make a purchase in order to update this free
   plugin,
    in order to fill-in my product license in order to get future plugin
   updates?
 * Will I be able to manually download it later?

 * That update was a minor update. For major updates we’ll release a new free version
   at the same link you got the original. But since this was a minor update with
   no security fixes you can just ignore the update.

 * Actually, we just pushed a new version to the original link. You can just download
   again and overwrite your existing version.
