# FrankenPHP/Caddy & WordPress

 * Is anyone running WordPress on FrankenPHP? I’m curious and I’ve been looking 
   into it but haven’t played around w/ it yet. Anyone have any experiences they
   would like to share?

   However, you are free to experiment with other **compatible solutions** and possibly
   share your experience in your blog. At least frankenphp claims to be compatible
   at code parsing level and there are some things like FrankenWP for your experiment
   enjoyment.

 * I have tried Caddy+Frankenphp+WP in the production and I do not recommend to 
   replace php-fpm with frankenphp. It’s because error on php will let the web server
   + frankenphp get down and you have to open SSH and restart the Caddy server everytime
   it happens.
 * In my case it mainly happened due to error on one of the php extension that was
   active in Frankenphp. Even 1 unresponsive extension may cause web server go down.
 * Although, Frankenphp runs in a single process and I have seen that it occupies
   less RAM than php-fpm multiple processes. It also depends on your configuration
   on `www.conf` (pm).
 * In conclusion, playing with Frankenphp+WP on local is ok but no for production
   sites.
