    How
   can I get a black framework with 1px around the white surface? Can anybody help
   me?

 * First let me say: yikes. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen border properties used
   in the body element to enclose the content area in such a way.
 * And this is going to be your real problem. If you stick with your layout, at 
   the very least you’ll need to surround the content/menu areas with another div
   you can then “frame” through css with the border property.
