Hi! May I have a small feature request? There’s the option “Cookie policy page” in admin where we can pick an existing page. Is it possible to add an input field next to the select for an anchor? I’d like to keep those cookie readings in my global “Data management policies” page instead of a separate/dedicated cookie page. That way my link would be /data-management-policies#cookies or sg. Thank you!

    Hi @coderars!

I was thinking of adding a second field for that if you had a special url for your policy. For instance if you have it on a second domain or if it was in a PDF. Then in your case you could use that to have any url with a hash if you want.

Sure, that would solve the problem and I’m OK with that! The only advantage of my approach is that if you generate the link based on the ID of the selected page, then later changing the page’s URL (outside in page editor) won’t break the link (I guess) if the user forgets to actualize it in your plugin’s settings. But it’s not so dangerous, and it’s the user’s fault. Maybe the best would be your idea and mine together 🙂 Thank you!

@coderars Alternative URL for policy is now live in version 1.80.

If you want to use an anchor on a page, choose the page in the Cookie policy page dropdown and enter the URL with anchor in the Cookie policy URL field.
