• Hello,

i found js and css files in the wp-content/upload folder. Is that normal?

Scripts are about themes stuff, or image gallery options, nothing bad, but should i delete it ?

    Thanks

I’ll give you a definite “maybe”, leaning towards “probably”.

Install the WordFence plugin and have it scan your site. See what it thinks.

    Hi,

Thanks for your (again) very fast answer…

I have an other security plugin (secupress) and the scan is ok…
But at this time strangely i have an issue with the firewall of this plugin i don’t know why…

I already scanned my websites with avast on my laptop and nothing special came out.

So, maybe i ‘ll instlall quickly wordfence and try a scan just to be relax.
And delete thoses files anyway after.

    Let see …

    Thanks !

So nothing came up with the scan of wordfence.

I was embarrassed cause i didn’t see in the wordfence scan the wp-content folder, but wp-includes and wp-admin (for finding unknowed files)

I checked the options but did’nt see something to activate this, i guess wordfence did his job anyway and everywhere in the wp files…

(I activated in the options “scan all files/external files of wordpress” in case of)

Anyway, i scanned again thoses css and js files at virustotal.com , all is clean.
I removed them from my ftp, and the websites works just fine.
I keeped thoses files in case of, cause there were theme’s js fonctions and galeries options scripts i guess.
