Dear Bsam21,
I have just bought their FileManager PRO version.
I do not use their backup feature.
Should I disable this plugin due to this trojan ?
Thanks !
Best Regards. Cloud

Cloud,
Either delete the plugin and install a different file manager, or go to your
/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-file-manager/lib/js/worker
directory and delete the “quicklook.tiff.js” file.
Hi bsam21, I looked at your so-called trojan alert, and it’s either a mistake on your part, or a lie, there’s nothing wrong with the quicklook.tiff file.
It’s a 249 octect file that contains clean code, which I’ve bagged with my Eset antivirus, which I’ve also sent to virustotal, this file is not a trojan at all.
I don’t know where you downloaded this zip archive, but you should think before you say stupid things.

First of all, I installed the app via the wordpress loader. My eset found it when I went to use the app. I just reported it here. If it was a false positive, fine, but I’d rather report it than not.
Perhaps you too should think before you say stupid things
Hi @bsam21,
We have checked with our plugin for your trojan-related query, It appears to be an issue with another plugin or code, We recommend scanning your full website and looking out for the root cause. The plugin code has passed the quality check and it doesn’t contain any faulty files.
