    I installed the latest 3.2.1211 and found that it now publish your recipes to http://www.fooderific.com and you can't turn it off. Even with the box unchecked it still pushes your recipes out. My recipes are my own for my use not to beef up someone else's web site!

    Also the registration information for fooderific.com is hidden so you cannot see who is behind this site.

    Shame on you!

    Here's what I did to solve the issue. Look in "easyrecipe/lib/EasyRecipeFooderific.php" and edit this line.

    const FOODERIFIC_URL = 'http://www.fooderific.com/plugin/ping.php';

    I modified it so the fooderific URL is now blank.

    const FOODERIFIC_URL = '';

    Don't forget to save!

    That seems to stop it from sending out your recipes.

    There are quite a few of these WP recipe plugins. So if you cant get this to work try another. I'll give it another chance as I really don't want to have to redo all my recipes, but it's on thin ice.

    No need to do all that. All you need to do is turn off the "List at Fooderific.com" option in the EasyRecipe settings page. There was a teensy glitch in 3.2.1211 that ignored the setting. We fixed it as soon as we became aware of it.

    This option is off by default on new installs and it needs to be explicitly turned on for EasyRecipe to send data to Fooderific. We won't send data to Fooderific without your explicit permission.

    Fooderific is a great way to attract more traffic. It showcases your recipe photos and brings more visitors your site, without displaying more than just an excerpt of your recipe description.

    If you have any concerns or problems, you can always contact us through the support tab on the EasyRecipe settings page.
