Found a possible cause for the "Vote" button not working…

    I isolated a problem with my WP-Polls “vote” and “results” not working. When I turn off the most recent update of JetPack all is fine. When I reactivate JetPack, WP Polls breaks. Lester can you look into what the incompatibility is? I rely on JetPack, but LOVE your WP-Polls.

    I am using Jetpack on http://lesterchan.net/ with WP-Polls and it works fine. Might be because of Jetpack Proton module?

    I need your Jetpack to be turned on for me to see the error

    Lester, I am pleased you are so responsive. I have had difficulties with a few other plugins and have found little or no activity (even when dubbed WP VIP).

    Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. I need to tell you that I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks and am quite a WP noob. (Be patient with me please).

    hmm, it works fine for me. I just voted, I was the 7th guy. Before I voted, there was only 6 voters.

    Interesting. I have checked several connections here and the vote button does not click unless I turn off JetPack. Your reply helped me figure out the problem. Why would it work for you and not for me. My network specialist monitored activity as I tried to vote. We are housed in a school which runs gateway software that was blocking data sent to gravatar.com. This was not active with jetpack off, but with jetpack “on” was blocking the vote button recording who voted. Thank you again Lester.
