    Hi,
we’ve been diving into SEO and Google Search console in the last few days. Something i’ve run into, is that the “forward slash” behind a URL matters, so “test.com/en” is not the same as “test.com/en/”.
In our Google Search Console, our site https://giveforgood.world/en is not indexed, but https://giveforgood.world/en/ is indexed. However, our SEO framework sitemap has the URL https://giveforgood.world/en –> so without the forward slash. As a result, Google Search Console does not recognize the correct page (with the forward slash) as being part of the sitemap. Strangely, all others URLs in the sitemap have a forward slash behind it.
Is there any way to fix this? Or perhaps change it in an SEO Framework update so that the homepages in various languages get a slash behind it in the sitemap?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello!

This is a bug in Polylang where it doesn’t honor user_trailingslashit(). That page also is somehow singular and a home archive… Polylang should pick one, not both.

I don’t believe that this is something TSF should patch — it’s not caused by TSF.

Update: There seems to be a regression here with TSF. I’ll resolve that in v4.2.2, which I will release next week to stave off spamming our users with updates.

That the page is somehow singular and a home archive is still an issue with Polylang, however.

    hi @cybr ,
thanks for the replies. I don’t quite understand your 2nd message: will your update solve our issue, or will we need to contact the Polylang helpdesk about this as well?

    Hi Rik,

The update of TSF will resolve the slashing issue.

Unrelated, Polylang needs to rectify its custom homepage query.
