 * Based on the little information given, I’d change the document root in Apache
   but that’s not really a wordpress support problem. If you need both example.com/
   and example.com/blog/ to hold content in different contexts you have an .htaccess
   learning experience.
 * No way to for us to know your specifics of what your hosting service can do, 
   or will let you do or how you do it.
